Magic is so much more than tricks and spells. It’s imagination, adventure and wondrous tales! Welcome to Merlin’s Magic Workshop, where we train all the greatest wizards. And maybe, just maybe, teach you to turn your cat into a lizard. So come along with us, watch tricks, practice and perform. Develop dexterity, creativity, confidence and learn to capture audiences by storm. Take a new trick home with you to practice each week. And be prepared to be admired as a great wizard of incredible mystique.

Monday: Sewing and Embroidery
Learn to hand sew and embroider with Miss Shannon’s Sewing Class! Students will learn how to sew on a button, the running stitch, back stitch, and chain stitch. Patching and embellishing clothing is also taught by bringing in different projects to teach each skill. This spring will include projects such as wool scarfs with an applique, stuffed animals, vintage image embroidery, and much more! Sewing kit, supplies, and materials are provided.

NEW! Tuesday: Flag Football Team! (3rd - 6th)
All 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders are welcome to join the LES Flag Football team. Students will learn football fundamentals, develop strategy and have fun with their friends. This is a non-contact sports class. All games are played using Flag Football rules. (Flag Football games will be internal only, not against other schools.) T-shirt/Jersey included.

Tuesday: Digital Art Design
A fun and interactive digital art class participants will discover the exciting world of digital art using Apple iPads. Our experienced instructors will guide your children through various techniques and tools to create engaging, vibrant and dynamic artwork. Throughout the course, kids will learn how to use the latest digital tools and software to create artwork that is both creative and unique. They will experiment with different brush types, learn about color theory, and explore the endless possibilities of layering and blending.

Wednesday: Young Ninjas (K - 4) with Coach Michael
A fun, physical outlet where kids learn martial arts techniques in a non-contact, non-competitive, and age-appropriate environment.

Wednesday: Old World Animals
This session we will be learning all about “Old World” animals! Students will get a hands-on encounter with our animals from Africa, Europe, and Asia. Students can expect to learn about desert dwelling animals, animals from the jungles as well as the grasslands. We will have snakes, lizards, parrots, insects, fuzzy mammals, and tortoises. This class will include huge pythons over 8 feet long and a bull frog the size of a dinner plate! This hands-on class will introduce students to a new live animal each week as they explore what makes these animals truly unique in the animal world. Students will learn about these animals in a variety of ways such as games, stories, art projects and of course animal interactions! Come join us this session, where you will meet a variety of new animal friends.

NEW! Wednesday: Tennis - Henry the Sports Bug! (K - 6th)
All students are welcome to be a part of Henry the Sports Bug – Tennis enrichment. The classes introduce tennis, with experienced tennis coaches, in a fun, supportive environment helping young children develop physically, socially, and emotionally. All equipment, including rackets and balls are provided.

Thursday: Escape Room
If you like puzzles and working as a team to solve mysteries, then this is your perfect escape! Inspired by the popular escape room concept, students must master the riddles and follow the clues to beat the clock. Team-building, thinking outside the box, and listening skills will be developed. A new story/challenge is presented each day. Themes include an undercover heist operation, time travel, and even a sinking pirate ship!

Thursday: Culinary Creations
Back by popular demand… our chefs will create delicious snacks and meals. Through their creations, the chefs will explore new cooking techniques, develop culinary skills, learn about the foods they prepare, and gain the confidence to try new things!
Time: 3:30 - 4:15 on Thursdays March 13 – May 29 (no classes March 20, March 27, April 3). Fee: $360
Friday: Art Mania
Get ready to get creative in this mixed media art class. Dabble in watercolor, pastels, collage, printmaking, and more! Each class features a new medium and theme. Create marbled paper, colorful seascapes, optical illusions, and even design your own T-shirt. We'll also learn about the artists who inspire each project.
Time: 3:45 - 4:30 on Fridays March 14 - May 30 (no classes March 21, March 28, April 4, April 18, May 23). Fee: $280
NEW! Friday: Junior Flag Football Team (Kinder thru 2nd grade)
All Kinder thru 2nd graders are welcome to join our LES Eagles Jrs. Flag Football team. Students will start off with the basics of football fundamentals and have fun with their friends. This is a non-contact sports class. All games are played using Flag Football rules and materials. T-shirt/Jersey included.
