Tech Titans (Monday)
Join Justine in the Tech Lab after school to have fun while building skills. Students will explore with activities such as Retro Game Making with Pico 8 (coding & designing); Photo Editing / Graphic Design ; and Minecraft Modding. Nerf Sports (Monday)
Build endurance, develop coordination, and work on new skills by playing all types of sports and games! Dribbling, passing, shooting, and hand-eye coordination are all developed as students enjoy basketball, soccer, dodge ball, capture the flag, and more! Get ready for the Los Encinos Eagle Basketball Season in this weekly clinic with Coach Terry. All 4th, 5th and 6th graders welcome whether they intend to join the team or not! Hip-hop techniques and combinations will come to life as students dance to a variety of funky hip hop beats. Students will develop coordination, musicality, and body awareness. World of Watercolor (Tuesday)
Become the next Picasso or Monet in this awesome watercolor painting class! Students will learn basic drawing and painting techniques, get creative and develop their own unique style. Tools include paintbrushes and sponges and everyone will experiment with different ways to put paint to paper. Beginner based and great for learning new skills. All materials provided. Chess with Jay Stallings (Wednesday)
Watch the Video Here! Chess has never been more fun! In this class, we introduce the game through exciting stories, special techniques and, of course, playing! The chess coach is none other than Jay Stallings, an expert-level chess player and certified FIDE Trainer (one of only 19 in the U.S.) with 25 years coaching experience. He runs a non-profit organization that has taught chess to over 40,000 students. Skills are developed in a short period of time, so it's perfect for all skill levels. Sewing and Embroidery (Wednesday)
