ENRICHMENT CLASSES - Fall 2025

Registration for Fall session of enrichment classes is now open until August 15Classes will begin Tuesday, September 2, 2025 and run through Thursday, November 20, 2025.  

 

Monday through Thursday classes are held from 3:45pm to 4:30pm with after-care included until 5:00pm. Friday classes are held from 3:30 to 4:15 with after-care ending at 4:30pm on Fridays. 

 

Please send an extra snack for your child on enrichment days, as they will have supervised free play and time for their snack from 3:15pm until their class starts.

 

Some classes have limited enrollment.

Monday: Art Mania (Ms. Bruce)

Get ready to get creative in this mixed media art class. Dabble in watercolor, pastels, collage, printmaking, and more! Each class features a new medium and theme. Create marbled paper, colorful seascapes, optical illusions, and even design your own T-shirt. We'll also learn about the artists who inspire each project. Fee: $400

 

Monday:  Tech Titans

Head to the STEM lab after school for some fun with 3D Printing, coding MBots and robots and VR games! We have a fully equipped, cutting-edge learning center where students can discover and develop real-world robotics, object oriented programming, and mechanical engineering while having real fun. Kids develop critical thinking skills and learn to work as a team. Fee: $400

 

Monday: Tennis – Henry the Sports Bug! (K – 6th)

All students are welcome to be a part of Henry the Sports Bug – Tennis enrichment.  The classes introduce tennis, with experienced tennis coaches, in a fun, supportive environment helping young children develop physically, socially, and emotionally.   10:1 student to coach ratio – all equipment, including rackets and balls are provided.  Fee: $500

 

Monday: Intermediate Strings (Mr. Rolontz)

In this class, students will continue their study of string instruments, focusing on technique, note reading and performance. For students who took string lessons at LES last year or who have taken 6 months to one year of violin, viola, cello or upright bass lessons outside of school. Instrument rental and music book not included. Fee: $400

 

Monday: Beginning Wind and Percussion Lessons(Mr. De Palma)

Ever wanted to learn an instrument? Here’s the place to start! In this class, you can begin to learn a wind or percussion instrument, including trumpet, trombone, baritone horn/tuba, clarinet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone (5thor older only), flute, or orchestral percussion. Instrument rental and music book not included. Open to students 4th-6th. Fee: $400

 

 

Tuesday / Wednesday:  Eagles Soccer Team (grades 4-6) with Coach Terry (Tuesdays/Wednesdays)

In this after-school soccer class for the upper grades, skills taught will include dribbling, passing, juggling, fake-outs, shooting, bending, and headers. Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, combining teamwork, a great physical workout, and exciting game play. Strategy will be a huge component. Coach Terry will teach the kids to use their heads (quite literally)!  This class is held two days each week (All games are on Wednesdays – Parent drivers will need to provide transportation to Valley Soccer Center). Fee: $525

 

Tuesday:  Digital Art Design

A fun and interactive digital art class participants will discover the exciting world of digital art using Apple iPads. Our experienced instructors will guide your children through various techniques and tools to create engaging, vibrant and dynamic artwork. Throughout the course, kids will learn how to use the latest digital tools and software to create artwork that is both creative and unique. They will experiment with different brush types, learn about color theory, and explore the endless possibilities of layering and blending. Fee: $440

 

Tuesday: Music Production and Songwriting (Mr. De Palma)

This enrichment class offers kids a fun and engaging way to develop their musical creativity in production and songwriting. The kids will learn music theory, songwriting techniques, and music production using various software and equipment.  Over the sessions, they will develop their musical skills, learn to collaborate, and express themselves through original compositions. Open to students 2nd-6thFee: $440

 

 

Wednesday:  Sewing and Embroidery

Want to learn how to sew and embroider?  Miss Shannon's Sewing Class will show children how to attach buttons and use various stitches (running, back, and chain). Patching and embellishing clothing will be incorporated through various projects. Coin bags, mini apple pillows, calico/plaid bears, felt penguins, berets and images like deer, cats, and birds will be embroidered. All materials are pre-cut and provided. Sewing kits include a canvas bag with 15 skeins of thread, pins, needles, scissors, and an embroidery hoop! Fee: $480

 

 

Thursday:  Beginning String Lessons(Thurs, 3:45-4:30, Mr. De Palma):

Ever wanted to learn an instrument? Here’s the place to start! In this class, you can begin to learn an orchestral string instrument, including violin, viola, cello or upright bass. Instrument rental and music book not included. Fee: $440

 

Thursday:  Young Ninjas (K – 4) 

A fun, physical outlet where kids learn martial arts techniques in a non-contact, non-competitive, and age-appropriate environment. Fee: $440

 

Thursday: Culinary Chefs

Back by popular demand… our chefs will create delicious snacks and meals from all over the world.  The sessions includes interactive nutrition lessons and preparing, cooking, and tasting all of the exquisite foods.  The kids will explore the geography and culture of what makes great food and what it says about the people where the food came from.  Fee: $440

 

 

Friday: Sports & Games with Coach Michael

Dribble, throw, pass, shoot….Take the ball to the hoop! Run, block, slide, kick…..you’re the Eagle that we pick!  Basketball, soccer, baseball and other sports will be played after school on the blacktop courts. Coach Michael will be there to blow the whistle. Fee: $400

 

Friday: Bedazzled Jewelry Design and More!

A fun and interactive “Kids Jewelry- Making Class” is a hands-on experience where the kids can explore and design a variety of jewelry making pieces. From a variety of colorful beads, charms, and accents the kids will get to craft their personalized unique keepsakes. Fee: $400
